We consider physical, emotional, and environmental factors, assessing and addressing not only your symptoms but also the impact of your pelvic health on your daily life, mental wellbeing, and relationships. We recognize that you are head to toe and mind and matter. Occupational therapy encompasses not only physical recovery but also the mental and emotional adjustments to changes brought on by pregnancy, childbirth, infertility/loss/termination, perimenopause and menopause, and general life changes, as well as practical support in daily activities.

I’m Nadya, a homegrown New Mexican, occupational therapist, and trauma-informed pelvic health specialist. My own experiences with pregnancy loss, high-risk pregnancy, and the unpredictable beauty of postpartum recovery brought me to this work—not just as a clinician, but as someone who’s lived it. Pelvic therapy helped me come back to myself, and that healing lit a fire to offer the same kind of care to others.

At Medusa Pelvic Health, I bring together skilled hands-on therapy, movement-based OT, and deep respect for the emotional layers of healing. I specialize in perinatal and postpartum care, pelvic pain, sexual health, and sacred transitions like hysterectomy recovery and pregnancy loss. My approach is relational, intuitive, evidence-informed, and rooted in the belief that the body holds wisdom—and deserves to be listened to.

Outside the clinic, I’m raising two wild-hearted kids, making messes with paint or flour, running to music or podcasts, and chasing sunshine (and sleep) whenever I can.
